Kobo Eyeglasses - Black Fade

First introduced in 2021, the Kobo marked the beginning of Jacques Marie Mage’s Japanese Special Projects. With this collection, Jerome Mage paid tribute to Japan’s enduring tradition of craftsmanship—from factory floors to fields of fine art.


The silhouette takes cues from the glasses once worn by Japanese author Kobo Abe, reimagined through JMM’s unmistakable design language. Strong proportions, signature detailing, and sculptural finishing give the frame its commanding presence.


This Black Fade Kobo is a pre-owned piece in great conditions and includes box and papers.
