x Blue Note Records - Herbie - Noir

In 1962, at just 22 years old, Herbie Hancock released Takin’ Off, the debut album that put him on the map. On its cover, the young pianist is pictured in a pair of square glasses that became as much a part of his image as the music itself.

The Herbie by Jacques Marie Mage reimagines that classic shape for today—what a jazz powerhouse of Hancock’s stature might wear if that photograph were retaken. Still a timeless square, the design is refined through thinner acetate exclusive to this special release, showing that while heritage deserves respect, it can also be re-envisioned and elevated into a stronger, more enduring package.

Offered in new condition with box and papers.

** Note, gold arrowheads shows signs of oxidation. A normal process that occurs with older JMM's due to moisture.

Limited Edition Number 102/500
